“Juimolos” a documentary about music and Guanacaste

This is a bit different from the things that I usually post, but I think some of you may be interested. I just had the chance to see a documentary called “Juimolos” by Costa Rican filmmaker Daniel Ross Mix. It features original music by and conversations with traditional singers of Guanacaste. The cinematography is beautiful and the music sounds great.

You can buy the film directly from Bicho Producciones for just $3. Support the arts in Costa Rica!

Thanks Maga Gei for bringing it to my attention.
